UK football game, check!

I am amazed at how quickly I've been able to cross a couple things off my list and make plans do to more things in the near future.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of joining a new friend to tailgate and watch the UK football game.   Before the game I went out and got my first ever UK shirt.  I'm pretty sure that the invitation would have been revoked had I not done so. :) I'm just kidding.  UK fans are pretty serious about sporting their colors, so I decided to jump on the band wagon.  Anyway, before the game we met up with some friends from work and enjoyed great food.  The game went was fun.  It is always nice when the team that you are cheering for wins!  Go Cats!

I have to laugh about the fact that I spent 27 years never having tailgated or seen a college football game.  But within the last two weekends I've been twice!  Last weekend I was in Seattle visiting Anna who got her PhD.  It was quite a fun weekend and included my first tailgating/college football game experience.  (As well as going to my first ever rodeo!)  We watched the UW Huskies beat the Syracuse Oranges.  I even got to sit in student section.  At half time the Presidents played Lump.  Gosh, knowing the lyrics well enough to sing along really dated myself.  Good times!
