Christmas Cookies

I've had quite a busy weekend finishing Christmas shopping, attempting to make another quilt by this coming Saturday, planning and shopping for baking, and then baking.  I just love December!  I'm sure your weekend was similarly busy.  Thank goodness the weekend was just extended - snow day tomorrow.  I have another busy day planned.

The Filled Sugar Cookies are mom's recipe.  She makes them every Christmas.  I'm happy to carry on the tradition.  Peanut Butter Blossoms, now that's just a classic.  Except I use the dark chocolate Kisses.  I discovered the Ginger-Molasses recipe last year.  It is definitely a keeper.  I experimented with two new recipes:  Pecan Meltaways and Viennese Almond Crescents.  The Almond Crescents weren't good enough to even photograph.  I'm still up in the air about the Pecan Meltaways. They all looked so pretty, I couldn't help but take pictures.
